SAN JOSE - Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2009 at George Shirakawa Middle School in San Jose. Today it was one of LSI's own "Alexandra Marie Diaz" who we are proud to announce will be moving on from Middle school to attend High School as the class of 2013.
Alexandra is a 3.3 GPA student. Her hobbies are reading, Math ,listening to music and Track & Field. Not only an accomplished student she is also an accomlished athlete. The 2009 60 Meter Junior Olympic Indoor Champion and 2007 Hershey 200 Meter National Champion, Alex has received awards from the City of San Jose for her Athletic Excellence. In 2008 Alex was chosing to carry the torch at the 40th annual Hershey State Championships.
Along with demonstrating good citizenship, Alex is both an Academic and Athletic role model. With Dreams of attending College she hopes to one day becoming a General Surgeon to service her community. She will continue to pursue Track & Field into High School and hopes to earn herself a College Scholarship. Her dreams are of one day becoming an Olympian and Gold Medalist and for this young lady they seem well on their way to becoming true.
